Important Website Design Guidelines and Trends
In a world full of changing trends, it can be hard to keep up with them. But don’t worry, because we’ve got the latest guidelines for web design and development which are definitely for value when delivering a great user experience:
#1: Your business logo needs to be in the top left area
Nearly every website has their logo placed in the top-left area of every page – this is one of the most striking areas.
#2: Your contact button needs to be in the top right area
Most of the websites have their contact button or link placed in the top right area of every page. Having your contact button or link placed in the top right area will make it stand out more – so your potential customers will know how to contact you.
#3: Your Home Page should have Value Proposition High Up
Almost every website has their value propositions explained “above the fold” to their visitors. The websites that don’t do this don’t have a clear value proposition.
#4: Use Web Animations
It’s no secret at all that pictures can play a huge role in making your audience understand your ideas. But why use only pictures on your website when you’re also able to use animations? – It also gives your business the opportunity to show people that your company is keeping up with the latest trends.
#5: Make sure you have a great mobile version of your site too
As more and more people are surfing on their mobile devices, the importance of having a great mobile version of your website has grown and still is continually growing.
#6: Send Kinetic Emails
2017 has been the year that a lot of companies finally decided to start sending Kinetic Emails instead of just making their emails mobile responsive. But why have those companies decided to do that? – Well, it’s a fact that Kinetic Emails are much more exciting to look at. The potential customers also feel more invited to go ahead and shop in their webshop (for example).
