What Snob Monkey did

In terms of social media, we wanted to start of using the three main platforms which were Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Our main aim for social media was to firstly build Starlight’s online presence and develop brand awareness. Creams Café is their biggest competitor, and so part of our mission was to establish their multiplicity and distinctiveness from them.
As we had free reign over Starlight’s business, we brainstormed different ideas not just for their marketing but for the interior and exterior of their venue to build upon their brand personality and attract new customers. As we were also responsible for designing and creating their stationary, we came up with the idea of dessert scented business and loyalty cards. This was not only distinctive but also represents Starlight’s fun and vibrant brand personality. Other Snob Monkey ideas also included the introduction of different desserts and ice creams from around the world to stand out from the crowd and installing mood changing lights within the venue to create a vivacious atmosphere.
